The first generation called '986 ' has a 2.5 liter engine that delivers 204hp. After a facelift in 1999, the Boxster S was added to the range. This was a larger 3.2 liter engine that delivers 252hp. The base model got a 2.7 liter in place and that caused 220hp. |
